Jacob's Ladder
Adrian Lyne, 1990.
Tim Robbins plays Jacob, a troubled ex-GI living in New York with his girlfriend, Jezebel. When Jacob isn’t remembering his wife Sarah and deceased son Gabriel or his tour of duty, he is experiencing increasingly graphic and bizarre hallucinations. The twist is: (Spoiler Alert!) this is all the hallucination of a dying man. Influenced by the Ambrose Bierce short story “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge”.

Hi...this film was very shocking and thought provoking the first time I watched it. The scenes which stay in mind are the strange figures that appear with their heads rapidy shaking and the scene of the lone woman in the train when it leaves the station......excellent movie and not for the faint hearted !!!
